Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about planning, sharing, data, and account deletion.

What is Cookyno?
Cookyno is a meal planner app focused on fast weekly planning—not a bloated recipe manager. You organize meals by day, optionally attach recipes, and let the app help build your grocery list.
Do I need to enter recipes to use the app?
No. Recipes and ingredients are optional. You can plan with simple meal names only and still benefit from structure and shopping-list aggregation when you add ingredients.
How does the shopping list work?
Cookyno collects ingredients from meals (and from recipes when you use them), merges duplicates where possible, and shows one consolidated list you can use at the store.
Can I plan meals with other people?
Yes—with Household (Pro) you can share a household workspace. Members you invite may see shared meals, recipes, and shopping context according to their role (owner, editor, or viewer).
How do I sign in?
You can sign in with Apple, Google, or supported email flows offered in the app. Your name and email are used for your profile and household visibility where sharing is enabled.
Where is my data stored?
Your account and planning data sync through secure cloud infrastructure (see our Privacy policy for processors such as Supabase and analytics partners).
How do I delete my account?
Use in-app account deletion when available. Our Delete account page summarizes what is removed and how to contact support@cookyno.app if you need help.
